Every two years, the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Association (CFMTA) hosts a national conference celebrating the people, ideas, and music that shape Canada's vibrant musical community.
Join us in July 2027 for an inspiring gathering filled with professional learning, fresh ideas, engaging presenters and performers, and opportunities to connect with colleagues and celebrate Canadian music education. A highlight of the conference will be the new CFMTA Multidiscipline Competition, bringing together students and teachers from across musical disciplines to showcase excellence, creativity, and the incredible diversity of musical achievement in Canada.
Hosted at Acadia University in the heart of Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley, Wolfville offers a warm and welcoming backdrop for this special event. Share your ideas, expertise, and experiences with music teachers from across Canada at the 2027 CFMTA National Conference in Wolfville, Nova Scotia!
We invite music educators, performers, and professionals to submit proposals for presentations, workshops, and other engaging sessions that will inspire learning, spark conversation, and support the growth of our music teaching community.
