Five scholarships may be awarded annually:
- One Advanced Scholarship
of $200 for students at ARCT level of study.
- One Senior Scholarship
of $150 - Students at grades 9 & 10 levels of study.
- One Intermediate
Scholarship of $100 - Students at grades 7 & 8 levels of
study.
- One Junior Scholarship of $50 - Students at grades 5 & 6
levels of study.
- One Preliminary Scholarship of $50 - Students at grades
3 & 4 levels of study.
Students must submit

Competition programme
All students are required to perform THREE
contrasting styles from a current recognized Conservatory Syllabus,
one from each category:
a) BAROQUE
b) CLASSICAL
c) ROMANTIC or
MODERN
No studies. No concerti. ARCT sonatas 2 consecutive movements
only.
- Advanced: Time limit 45 minutes.
- Senior: Time limit 30 minutes.
- Intermediate: Time limit 20 minutes.
- Junior: Time limit 15 minutes.
- Preliminary: Time limit 6 minutes.

2009 Scholarship Competition Winners
The competition was held on Friday evening and Saturday morning,
May 22/23 in the Elsie MacAloney Room at the Dal Arts Centre and
had 30 participants in 5 categories. Students were well prepared
and were presented with positive and beneficial adjudication from
Jennifer King and Susan Sayle.
The winners chosen were:
